Microsoft's Windows operating system continues its downward trajectory on a spiral that is seeing it continually losing “eyeballs.” Even with the launch of Windows XP Service Pack 3 and the fixing of Windows Vista RTM with the release of Service Pack 1, the market share of Windows has continued to drop throughout 2008, and the past month made no exception to the trend. The open source Linux and Apple's Mac OS X proprietary operating systems are eroding the Windows audience bit by bit, and have taken the platform below the 90% market share mark.

After announcing their XP3 Enduro just several days ago today Sonim announced the start of their partnership with Land Rover. Together they`ll produce co-branded rugged mobile phones and the first models will se daylight next year.

With the release of the newest Batman movie, there has been a lot of talk about the Dark Knight lately, so much so that ASUS decided to name a custom card using the same name. This card has four heatpipes. Heatpipes have been proven on many occasions to help the flow of heat immensely. Rarely do you ever see heatpipes used on any video card, even special edition cards. Heatpipes are usually reserved for the best after market GPU coolers. It should be interesting to see how these heatpipes affect overclocking.
