Over a 1000 traders looking for an alternate trade route after the economic blockade in Kashmir clashed with the police in Sopore. Over 40 were injured as the police tried to stop protestors from advancing. Police also resorted to tear-gas against protestors and traders, most of them fruit traders, who had planned to cross the LoC into Muzaffarbad.
